I alway thought that it would happen to me, I thought "Spyware happens to dumb people, I'm way to tech-savvy to fall victim to some inferior spyware." Then it happened, Slow at first then it got to the point where i couldn't even perform regular tasks on my laptop.
So now my beloved Dell is riddled with diesease and I dont have the heart to throw it out, although i think that would be uncalled for.
What do I do!!
So yeah I was tired of my laptop shutting down everytime i tired to go onto Perezhilton so i went on CL and got a Temp laptop until I save up for an Apple ibook, since i find windows inferior.
This laptop is huge, and that's not a good thing. I weighs like eight friggin pounds how am i supposed to carry this thing around. People are going to laugh at me in starbucks. Ridiculous.

Try running Malwarebytes on it. It is a legitimate program, you can look it up. It is a free download. That gets rid of most spyware.
It is antivirus XP 2008 that is giving you the warning, right? That is not a legitimate program, but spyware itself. ALl the spyware it is finding is fake and it wants you to send in your credit card number to upgrade and get it removed.
It's a scam.
