Shock and Awe! Shock and Awe!!

 So i got into a taxi yesterday and the taxi driver says

- hear about the hudson thing?

Me- No, what about her ( I thought he was talking about Jennifer Hudson 'Doh!)

- A plane landed in the Hudson River.

Me- Oh. Its cold out.

Then after that I kept hearing about it non stop on TV  from my roomates  asking the same question over and over again.

"Here about the Plane that crashed into the river?"

Thankfully  they landed in the best place possible on of he busiest ferry routes in America. So lot of people where there to help to out. But why was it on Tv so much?  I swear on Fox 5 they talked about it every 5 minutes  but they where talking about the same thing over and over again. Nothing new. Coldest day in 26 years blah blah no body got hurt (thank god!) blah blah and a DOUBLE bird strike ( when a bird gets sucked up into the engine and ruins the blades) is what cause the engine to blow (Those poor birds!)

"Birds Vs. Planes: Bird in the Sky and what we can do about it."

WHAT!!  Birds  fly and have been flying way longer then planes have been in the sky I don't think anyone even cared about those poor birds. Are they going to ban birds from flying in restricted area designated around Airports?  Regan International airport that has a cannon that scares away birds rest on the runways before he planes take off and I think that is a good idea for every Airport that is next to a body of water.

Anyways I'm glad everyone was safe on that plane. How and they gonna get that plane out of the river?
