I love eating out-- at restaurants, that is. Thankfully I live in the DC area and there is no shortage of diverse and interesting restaurants to dine at. Here I am at La Fourchette on 18th street. It was a perfect little place with mirrors surrounding the walls and interesting vintage french art on the walls. I love the way that French restaurants look especially at night, when most of the light is from candle light. If you want to wine & dine with delicious food and an awesome atmosphere you should drop by Adams Morgan for a lunch.
I always get escargot whenever I go to French places, because honestly its so yummy, forgo the
thought of snails being broiled to a delicious death. But I also decided to try something new, which I regretted immediately as they sat it down. I decided to be bold and get some Foie Gras with Honey or something else on it. Horrible!! horrible runny mess, I love the taste of liver but not when not when it feels like their is a runny egg in my mouth. but I blame the Foie Gras for being gross not the resturant.
